FLOATING WEEK OWNERS

Dolphin’s Cove Resort offers “floating” time in weeks 1 through 24 and 36 through 52. The very first step in the reservation process is to reserve a week at Dolphin’s Cove Resort for EACH week you own. RESERVE EARLY FOR THE BEST CHOICES OF WEEKS!

Since we accept reservations on a first requested, first reserved basis, we urge you to request your reservation early. We will accept reservations up to 104 weeks (2 years) in advance, as long as you are current on your assessment fees. If you plan to stay at Dolphin’s Cove Resort, that’s all there is to it! If, however, you decide to exchange through RCI, please refer to the Exchanging Through RCI section. If you have any special requests or needs please contact the resort at (714) 980-0830.

FIXED WEEK OWNERS

Dolphin’s Cove Resort fixed weeks is weeks 25 through 35. Each fixed week owner’s use week is the same week every year. Please refer to your grant deed and the Use Calendar to determine your exact check-in date each year. If you plan to stay at Dolphin’s Cove Resort, that’s all there is to it! If, however, you decide to exchange through RCI, please refer to the Exchanging Through RCI section.

EXCHANGING THROUGH RCI

Before you can request an exchange through RCI, you must Spacebank the reserved week(s). If you think of Spacebanking as a checking account it will help. You cannot “withdraw” until after you have made a “deposit”. Please refer to RCI’s Endless Vacation Directory of Resorts for detailed information.

Wyndham Vacation Resort Management Reservation Department (888) 273-2554 will offer to assist you by Spacebanking your wee(s) with RCI on your behalf. This is an important benefit because the sooner your week is spacebanked, the greater your trading power.

REMEMBER: You may deposit a week from two years to 14 days before its start date. Once you have made your Spacebank deposit, you have up to two years after the start date of the week to travel on an exchange. You do not have to request an exchange at the same time you deposit your vacation time.

BONUS TIME

Bonus Time is “EXTRA” time at Dolphin’s Cove Resort which becomes available if owners cancel their vacation, fail to make timely reservations, check-out early, or fail to check-in. Therefore the majority of Bonus Time becomes available at the last minute. The nightly rate is ranges from $75 - $95 plus 15% tax per night depending on the unit size. Keep this in mind when making a Bonus Time reservation – be flexible, keep checking, and try to travel during the middle of the week. Bonus Time reservations may be made no more than 21 days prior to arrival date, up to the day of arrival, the deeded owner does have to be present upon check-in and you can only have one Bonus Time reservation at a time. RESORTIME

ResorTime is extra time at other vacation ownership resorts and is in addition to Bonus Time. The number of days in advance of your requested check in date that you may request a reservation and other restrictions vary by resort.
